Issue: #19715

This argument never worked and was not passed on Windows, which is why
the Windows version needs fewer fixups (and used to work independent of
this change).
On Linux (and macOS) it was passed and prevented the server from starting and the
test would not be able to run.

2137384202 FindSquish: Make squish_add_test work with any Squish version

Update the documentation (Squish 4 is from 2010, so people are likely
using something newer) and let squish_add_test call either the v3 or v4
macro based on the detected Squish version.
This cannot break things, since mixing incompatible versions would not
have worked before.

Windows has .exe in the target name, but Squish only uses the name without extension
which makes things a lot easier when running tests on several platforms.
Discovered when coming back to Windows and doing a fresh build and suddenly the
binary to be tested was no longer found due to the name mismatch.

|

The AUT (application under test) was previously set by trying to extract the target location,
which is no longer supported.

The whole script looks rather dated and dusty, but it actually does find
newer Squish versions - e.g. version 6.5 here.
I assume more work is needed, but at least with this tiny patch the path
is located on Windws when the SQUISH_INSTALL_DIR environment variable is
set.

This commit removes hardcoded paths that are already given in the
platform files or in `UnixPath` on a global level.

The cmake_parse_arguments command is builtin with version 3.5.
The CMakeParseArguments module is empty and exists for backwards
compatibility with CMake 3.4 and lower.
Remove the includes of CMakeParseArguments from CMake's modules.
The modules are always used with the current version of CMake.
Leave the includes in the tests, as the tests may be run with an older
version of CMake.

Per-source copyright/license notice headers that spell out copyright holder
names and years are hard to maintain and often out-of-date or plain wrong.
Precise contributor information is already maintained automatically by the
version control tool. Ultimately it is the receiver of a file who is
responsible for determining its licensing status, and per-source notices are
merely a convenience. Therefore it is simpler and more accurate for
each source to have a generic notice of the license name and references to
more detailed information on copyright holders and full license terms.
Our `Copyright.txt` file now contains a list of Contributors whose names
appeared source-level copyright notices. It also references version control
history for more precise information. Therefore we no longer need to spell
out the list of Contributors in each source file notice.
Replace CMake per-source copyright/license notice headers with a short
description of the license and links to `Copyright.txt` and online information
available from "https://cmake.org/licensing". The online URL also handles
cases of modules being copied out of our source into other projects, so we
can drop our notices about replacing links with full license text.
Run the `Utilities/Scripts/filter-notices.bash` script to perform the majority
of the replacements mechanically. Manually fix up shebang lines and trailing
newlines in a few files. Manually update the notices in a few files that the
script does not handle.

Help format the blocks better for display without a wide screen.

Convert several preformatted code block literals that enumerate lists of
options or variables to use reST definition lists instead. Manually
wrap other long lines in code blocks.

Make sure these modules also include exactly the version shipped with CMake.

All these expressions work the same:
"foo"
".*foo.*"
"^.*foo.*$"
This assumes that the "Intel*" expressions were meant to be "Intel.*".

Run the convert-help.bash script to convert documentation:
./convert-help.bash "/path/to/CMake-build/bin"
Then remove it.

The OUTPUT_NAME target property only returns something if it has been
explicitely set. So use LOCATION, and extract the filename from that.

This patch adds support for Squish 4.x.
The changes are basically what is attached to
http://public.kitware.com/Bug/view.php?id=9734.
When adding a test for squish 4.x, use squish_v4_add_test().

There is still a wrapper macro squish_add_test(), but this now
mentions that you should use squish_v3_add_test() instead.
Also, the docs for the macro were just wrong. They are at least
correct now, but still hard to understand (I don't have squish 3 around,
so I can't improve them).

Instead of directly passing $ENV{SOMEVAR} to a find_* call pass in ENV SOMEVAR.
This will make sure the paths will get correctly handled through different
platforms, especially on Windows.
Also fixes one place where paths with windows delimiters (\) were hardcoded to
use forward slashes.

Ancient versions of CMake required else(), endif(), and similar block
termination commands to have arguments matching the command starting the
block. This is no longer the preferred style.
Run the following shell code:
for c in else endif endforeach endfunction endmacro endwhile; do
echo 's/\b'"$c"'\(\s*\)(.\+)/'"$c"'\1()/'
done >convert.sed &&
git ls-files -z -- bootstrap '*.cmake' '*.cmake.in' '*CMakeLists.txt' |
egrep -z -v '^(Utilities/cm|Source/kwsys/)' |
egrep -z -v 'Tests/CMakeTests/While-Endwhile-' |
xargs -0 sed -i -f convert.sed &&
rm convert.sed

Ancient CMake versions required upper-case commands. Later command
names became case-insensitive. Now the preferred style is lower-case.
Run the following shell code:
cmake --help-command-list |
grep -v "cmake version" |
while read c; do
echo 's/\b'"$(echo $c | tr '[:lower:]' '[:upper:]')"'\(\s*\)(/'"$c"'\1(/g'
done >convert.sed &&
git ls-files -z -- bootstrap '*.cmake' '*.cmake.in' '*CMakeLists.txt' |
egrep -z -v '^(Utilities/cm|Source/kwsys/)' |
xargs -0 sed -i -f convert.sed &&
rm convert.sed

Our Git commit hooks disallow modification or addition of lines with
trailing whitespace. Wipe out all remnants of trailing whitespace
everywhere except third-party code.
Run the following shell code:
git ls-files -z -- \

'*.c' '*.cmake' '*.cpp' '*.cxx' \
'*.el' '*.f' '*.f90' '*.h' '*.in' '*.in.l' '*.java' \

egrep -z -v '^(Modules/CPack\..*\.in)' |

This adds copyright/license notification blocks CMake's find-modules.
Many of the modules had no notices at all. Some had notices referring
to the BSD license already. This commit normalizes existing notices and
adds missing notices.
