* VS: Add support for .NET Standard and .NET CoreJoerg Bornemann2020-01-243-0/+30
| | | | Fixes: #20105
* VS: Add Visual Studio 16 2019 generatorBrad King2019-01-111-0/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | Add this generator *without* support for specifying the target architecture in the generator name. cmake-gui will be taught to provide a field for this, and command-line builds can use -A. Also, teach this generator to select a default target architecture based on the host architecture. Fixes: #18689 Inspired-by: Egor Pugin <egor.pugin@gmail.com>
* include_external_msproject: Honor MAP_IMPORTED_CONFIG_<CONFIG>Beeble2017-04-057-4/+34
| | | | | This allows projects added via `include_external_msproject` to compile the preferred configuration despite different naming conventions.
* Use string(APPEND) in TestsDaniel Pfeifer2016-07-271-3/+3
| | | | | | | Automate with: find Tests -type f -print0 | xargs -0 perl -i -0pe \ 's/set\(([a-zA-Z0-9_]+)(\s+)"\$\{\1\}([^"])/string(APPEND \1\2"\3/g'
* Tests: Add generator platform supportBrad King2014-09-101-1/+3
| | | | | Propagate CMAKE_GENERATOR_PLATFORM through the test hierarchy so that all tests can build with the selected generator platform, if any.
* Cygwin: Avoid legacy warnings in RunCMake.* testsBrad King2013-08-131-1/+1
| | | | | | Set the minimum required version of CMake high enough to avoid the warning for CMAKE_LEGACY_CYGWIN_WIN32. The warning appears on stderr and breaks the expected output matching.
* Remove CMake-language block-end command argumentsKitware Robot2012-08-131-10/+10
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Ancient versions of CMake required else(), endif(), and similar block termination commands to have arguments matching the command starting the block. This is no longer the preferred style. Run the following shell code: for c in else endif endforeach endfunction endmacro endwhile; do echo 's/\b'"$c"'\(\s*\)(.\+)/'"$c"'\1()/' done >convert.sed && git ls-files -z -- bootstrap '*.cmake' '*.cmake.in' '*CMakeLists.txt' | egrep -z -v '^(Utilities/cm|Source/kwsys/)' | egrep -z -v 'Tests/CMakeTests/While-Endwhile-' | xargs -0 sed -i -f convert.sed && rm convert.sed
* include_external_msproject: Test TYPE, GUID, PLATFORM options (#13120)Brad King2012-04-1910-0/+134
Add "RunCMake.include_external_msproject" test to use the TYPE, GUID, and PLATFORM options to include_external_msproject. Since projects with custom types and platforms cannot be loaded without special VS plugins validate the results by directly parsing the generated solution (.sln).
