The QGtk class has been refactored into a private d class for QGtkStyle.
This allows us to re-use a lot of code for the Maemo5 style without changing
a single line in QGtkStyle itself plus we can easily add virtual functions
where the two styles need to behave different.
There shouldn't be any new functionality added (or old functionality lost) by
this commit.

Modern graphics drivers tend to disable shared memory pixmaps,
since rendering operations often can't be accelerated by the
GPU when the pixmap data is pinned in system RAM.
Use XShmPutImage() to flush the window surface when this is case,
instead of falling back to the slower XPutImage() method.

This is an internal interface for plugins that can be provided by
the platform to give platform-specific features by platforms built on
top of Qt.
We can easlily integrate Qt on Windows, Mac, Gnome, ... without any
plugin because we can link to their respective library (dynamically
if we don't want to depend on it). On Gnome, we can dynamically
resolve Gtk+ symbols.
This is however not possible for KDE or other platform built on top
of Qt: we can't link against their library because they depend on us
and we can't dynamically resolve the symbols because they are
mangled (C++)
So this plugin provides hooks inside Qt to be able to do things
like native File or Color dialog, native icons, accurate reading of
the config file, and so on.
This is currently private API.

XFCE essentially depends on gnome libraries and can use the
same integration features we provide for GNOME. Hence we
simply treat it as the GNOME desktop environment internally.
We can now also use the DESKTOP_SESSION to reliably detect
desktop environments since it has been properly standardized,
instead of relying on window manager hacks for anything but
a fallback.

Added support for the simpliest SAVE_TARGET mechanizm allowing us to
work nicely with clipboard managers, so that when Qt application that
owns the clipboard exits we delegate the content to the clipboard
manager if there is one.
The current implementation doesn't specify which targets to give to
the manager, so it will try to fetch as much as possible. Also, right
now we do not support the TARGET_SIZES target, meaning that the
manager doesn't know how much data it is going to fetch, so it will
try to fetch everything even if it can take a lot of time.

Summary:
QT_NO_CURSOR is now not defined for symbian builds
Existing QCursor APIs are all supported
New public API, QApplication::setNavigationMode, to allow the navigation
mode to be set. I.E. on an S60 3.2 phone, some applications will want a
virtual mouse cursor (web browser), while others are designed for keypad
navigation.
Symbian HAL is used for detecting input capabilities.
Fix DND, code cleanup & comment
QCursor visibility now uses a refcount, and is called from DND and the
setNavigationMode so they are both simpler and don't interfere with each
other.
QApplication::setNavigationMode
New public API for configuring cursor/keypad navi style.
This links in with ongoing work on the 4-way keypad navi branch, but
2-way and 4-way modes both act as 2-way mode until that is integrated
Some of the demos/examples have cursor switched on (those that were not
usable with keypad)
Virtual mouse support for non touch, non mouse phones (tested on N78)
add *.d and .metadata (carbide debug file / workspace dir) to .gitignore
System pointers are unavailable when using sprite workaround, so the
system cursor shapes are compiled into qtgui as resources.
MAC port does this also for shapes that aren't standard on the MAC.

The default value is planned to be changed in the next minor update to
Gtk+ (2.28), hence we need to read this dynamically now. We also
added a helper-function to easily read a gconf bool.
Note, as a bonus feature I also added support for
"buttons_have_icons".

Since Qt 4.5, all tablet events are compressed not to overload the
widgets with the corresponding mouse event (a mouse event is generated
if the tablet event is not accepted).
This behavior reduce the precision when drawing on a widget that use
the tablet events. All tablet events should be sent to the widget that
are accepting the tablet event.
With this patch, the tablet event are filtered only if the widget
ignore the first tablet event. The mouse events are compressed.
There is two special cases for the filtering:
First, if a tablet event is for another widget than the one
ignoring the tablet, this event should not be filtered.
Second, if there is a mouse press event, the mouse move event should be
sent to the widget that received the mouse press event.

We only reacted to font changes before when the whole theme changed.
Two things had to be fixed to support this. We need to check if the
font changed in QGtkStyle::updateTheme and we need to make sure that
QApplication does not reset these settings for us.

Added some static functions to QIcon to support desktop
themes based on the freedesktop spec. It is not intended to
replace KIcon and the intention is to use it when available to
share icon cache between applications.
Applications currently using icon themes are Assistant, Designer
and the textedit demo.

Move the code out of qapplication_x11.cpp, and qcommonstyle.cpp
to qkde.cpp into the QKde namespace.
This removes few of the code duplication, and is much cleaner.
This will also let us install hook easily later.

In some cases we might get an invalid timestamp that is far away in
the future, so remembering it will break all consequent X calls that
require a timestamp because it just contains junk (for example
clipboard will stop working). This happens with XIM+SCIM pair -
whenever we start input method and type something to the widget, we
get a XKeyPress event with a commited string, however the 'serial' and
'time' members of the XEvent structure are not initialized (according
to valgrind) and contain junk.

This enum indicates what kind of device generated the touch event
(TouchScreen or TouchPad). We use this information to control how touch
events are sent, specifically we restrict touch events to a single
widget/QGraphicsItem on touch-pads, since there is no direct

Rewrote the usage of XCheckTypedWindowEvent to now use a XCheckIfEvent
based scanner.
Using XCheckTypedWindowEvent caused us to sometimes hop over relevant events
while doing compression. So we could end up merging a tablet move event
with another tablet move event even while there was a mouse-release event
between them.
This rewrite makes sure we stop merging when needed.

We now send both types of events, i.e. accepting TouchBegin doesn't block mouse events anymore. We
are also introducing the idea of a "primary" touch point, which is the one that the system is also
generating mouse events for.
This lets us reuse existing mouse event code while still being able to add multi-touch support.

That was wrong to reset environment variable returned with a putenv
since getenv returns a value only. This fix reverts to old behavior
when unsetenv is not available and will leak 20 bytes once on
qapplication initialization.

This class adds convenient support for proxy styles in Qt.
Note that to support proper proxying, styles now
call their functions through proxy() so that the proxy regains control
over subcomponents. Note that there is a small price to be payed
by the extra function call which can at the cost of readability
be redirected to the private class member in the future.

We need to subscribe to xfixes selection notify events on all
available screens.
Also implemented delayed subscription to xfixes events since we don't
really need clipboard change notifications unless the application
explicitely asked for by (i.e. created a qclipboard object).
