The criteria for destroying the backing store is when neither the TLW nor any of its native descendents (which share the backing store) are visible. In order to implement this requirement, a count must be kept of the number of native widgets which are using the TLW's backing store. This patch provides the mechanism for maintaining this count, and for destroying the backing store when the count is decremented to zero. No calls to either the increment nor decrement functions are made, however, by this code included in this patch; this code will be added to only the Symbian backend by a subsequent patch. We used to try to active it by giving it keyboard focus, but that always fails because it isn't allowed to call XSetInputFocus on invisible windows, and the error message was swalled by Qt in the error handler. Previously we did not handle this. We query the current keyboard group on startup and monitor XkbStateNotify events for group changes. The existing infrastructre from QKeyMapper deals with sending the KeyboardLayoutChange event to all toplevel windows already. This change includes a bit of refactoring to put the XKB detection and initialization in qapplication_x11.cpp and XKB opcode, eventbase, and errorbase into qt_x11_p.h (like with the other extensions). I.E. on an S60 3.2 phone, some applications will want a virtual mouse cursor (web browser), while others are designed for keypad navigation. Symbian HAL is used for detecting input capabilities. Fix DND, code cleanup & comment QCursor visibility now uses a refcount, and is called from DND and the setNavigationMode so they are both simpler and don't interfere with each other. QApplication::setNavigationMode New public API for configuring cursor/keypad navi style. This links in with ongoing work on the 4-way keypad navi branch, but 2-way and 4-way modes both act as 2-way mode until that is integrated Some of the demos/examples have cursor switched on (those that were not usable with keypad) Virtual mouse support for non touch, non mouse phones (tested on N78) add *.d and .metadata (carbide debug file / workspace dir) to .gitignore System pointers are unavailable when using sprite workaround, so the system cursor shapes are compiled into qtgui as resources. MAC port does this also for shapes that aren't standard on the MAC. This behavior reduce the precision when drawing on a widget that use the tablet events. All tablet events should be sent to the widget that are accepting the tablet event. With this patch, the tablet event are filtered only if the widget ignore the first tablet event. The mouse events are compressed. There is two special cases for the filtering: First, if a tablet event is for another widget than the one ignoring the tablet, this event should not be filtered. Second, if there is a mouse press event, the mouse move event should be sent to the widget that received the mouse press event.
