On the Mac, it means "-framework ApplicationServices -framework Carbon
-framework AppKit" are no longer part of the default LIBS in Qt
applications. This required a lot of fixes where we used Mac-specific
code in Qt.
On X11, it was very straightforward, because we apparently use very
little of X11 outside QtGui.
I haven't changed the Windows-specific LIBS paths, because I don't
know how Windows behaves. Windows has DLLs, but it links to static
"import" libraries. So is it static linking or dynamic linking?

Made better use of qreal all over the place. We were previously
using QVariant::toDouble a lot. That is triggering unnecessary
conversions between float and double on embedded.

When specifying round corners with QStyleSheetStyle and no border-width
specified, the round corners were not rendered with antialiasing. Furthermore,
if border-width was set to 0, part of the border was rendered in discordance
with CSS3.
The background in now rendered directly instead of drawing a clipped
rectangle. The actual border width is checked before rendering.
A test has been added at tests/auto/uiloader/baseline/css_borderradius_allwidgets.ui

If a string contains multiple variants sorted by decreasing length,
separated by \x9c, it will try to paint the longest variant which fits
into the bounding box.

In qt_scale_image_16bit() and qt_scale_image_32bit(), when a sample
point was located on the border between two pixels in the source image,
the sample point was rounded up instead of down. If a sample point was
exactly on the bottom or right edge of the source image, the function
would therefore sample a pixel outside the image. Because of how the
target rectangle is rounded, a sample point will never be exactly on
the top or left edge of the source image, so we will not get a similar
problem there.
I extended the lance test pixmap_scaling.qps.

The task mentions coordinates outside the range of signed short, but
the provided example demonstrates failures in the 10-20K range as well.

This makes Qt work on VxWorks 6.6+ in native (kernel) mode.
* compiles with the WindRiver GNU toolchain (Linux only)
* works with QWS (tested with the VNC driver only)
* tested on PPC hardware and the x86 VxWorks simulator
* no q3support, no phonon, no webkit
* no QSharedMemory, no QSystemSemaphore, no QProcess
* only one QApplication instance (flat address space)
* filesystem support depends heavily on the quality of the native driver
* QLibrary is just a dummy to make plugins work at all
* qmake transparently creates VxWorks munching rules for static ctors
* made auto-test cope with missing OS features
A special note regarding the Q_FOREACH patch for dcc:
when calling foreach(a,c) with c being a function returning a container,
the compiler would generate 5 references to some labels (.LXXXX), which
are not there (so the linker complains in the end).
Seems like dcc doesn't really like the 'true ? 0 : <function call to get type>'
statement

Panther was the last reason for having this around. We don't touch this
code anywhere else in Qt. As a result it's orphaned and can be safely
removed. It truly is the end of an era, but it's definitely worth
celebrating. Quartz4Life!
