If an identifier (JSC::Identifier) is then garbage collected, the destructor will try to remove itself from the currentIdentifierTable(). Because the API shim was missing, the identifier table was 0. But there was data loss in the case where you passed a source string for which no translation was found (since the Latin-1-ized string would be returned).
