In Qt 4.5.3 and earlier, creating a QDirIterator with QDir::Files |
QDir::Hidden (i.e. search for all files, including hidden files)
returned a list of all hidden and non-hidden files in a directory tree.
In Qt 4.6.0 and later the same filter causes QDirIterator to return a
list of all hidden and non-hidden files and all hidden directories. As
the user is asking only for files, clearly returning hidden directories
too is incorrect behaviour.
Similarly, when asking for QDir::Dirs | QDir::Hidden (i.e. all
directories, including hidden directories), hidden files are also
(wrongly) returned.

Since 21e0423a, the directory structure for iteration is created
by the test on initialisation. Furthermore the directory structure no
longer exists in git, causing a build error at the deployment stage.
Also, defined Q_NO_SYMLINKS to disable test cases related to symlinks

This creates QDir::NoDot and QDir::NoDotDot filters -- in many cases,
one may want the .. entry (e.g. to navigate to the parent directory)
but not the . entry (useless for navigation).

Turns out two of the files removed were still required by the resource
compiler.

The test depended on being run inside the source directory, because of
a dummy file hierarchy present there.
With these changes the needed hierarchy is generated on the fly and
cleaned up at the end of the test.
Also removed garbage at the end of tst_QDirIterator::stopLinkLoop.
Cleanup is done in test destructor.

This makes Qt work on VxWorks 6.6+ in native (kernel) mode.
* compiles with the WindRiver GNU toolchain (Linux only)
* works with QWS (tested with the VNC driver only)
* tested on PPC hardware and the x86 VxWorks simulator
* no q3support, no phonon, no webkit
* no QSharedMemory, no QSystemSemaphore, no QProcess
* only one QApplication instance (flat address space)
* filesystem support depends heavily on the quality of the native driver
* QLibrary is just a dummy to make plugins work at all
* qmake transparently creates VxWorks munching rules for static ctors
* made auto-test cope with missing OS features
A special note regarding the Q_FOREACH patch for dcc:
when calling foreach(a,c) with c being a function returning a container,
the compiler would generate 5 references to some labels (.LXXXX), which
are not there (so the linker complains in the end).
Seems like dcc doesn't really like the 'true ? 0 : <function call to get type>'
statement
