* gh-92584: Remove the distutils package (#99061)Victor Stinner2022-11-031-0/+5
| | | | | | | | | | | | Remove the distutils package. It was deprecated in Python 3.10 by PEP 632 "Deprecate distutils module". For projects still using distutils and cannot be updated to something else, the setuptools project can be installed: it still provides distutils. * Remove Lib/distutils/ directory * Remove test_distutils * Remove references to distutils * Skip test_check_c_globals and test_peg_generator since they use distutils
* gh-95349: Hide a Distutils Warning Filter for test_check_c_globals (GH-95837)Eric Snow2022-08-091-1/+6
| | | Under certain build conditions, test_check_c_globals fails. This fix takes the same approach as we took for gh-84236 (via gh-20095). We'll be removing use of distutils in the c-analyzer at some point. Until then we'll hide the warning filter.
* bpo-36876: Re-organize the c-analyzer tool code. (gh-16841)Eric Snow2019-10-191-1/+1
| | | | | This is partly a cleanup of the code. It also is preparation for getting the variables from the source (cross-platform) rather than from the symbols. The change only touches the tool (and its tests).
* bpo-36876: Skip test_check_c_globals for now. (gh-16017)Eric Snow2019-09-121-1/+3
