* Updated (and regenerated) for name change in tp_init method arguments:Jack Jansen2005-07-031-107/+115
| | | | they are now _self, _args and _kwds.
* More cases of input parameters passed by reference without const.Jack Jansen2004-01-111-15/+15

* Added support for APIs in QuickTimeMusic.h. This one is a bit dodgy:Jack Jansen2004-01-111-0/+1559
| | | | | the header file seems to be hand-written and missing the "const" keywords for input parameters passed by reference.
* Added support for APIs in MediaHandlers.h.Jack Jansen2004-01-091-0/+1921

* Allow passing NULL pointers by passing None. This also works for theJack Jansen2004-01-041-13/+53
| | | | | | | | factory functions, so you can call quicktime functions that are implemented as methods on NULL too. Still don't allow quicktime functions to return NULL pointers, though: I think this always signals an error condition.
* Added interfaces for most of the stuff in QuickTimeComponents.h.Jack Jansen2004-01-031-0/+9712

* Added support for ImageCompression.h APIs.Jack Jansen2004-01-021-0/+4266

* Updated for QuickTime 6.0, Universal Header 3.4.2.Jack Jansen2004-01-021-4/+802

* Got rid of macglue.h, replacing it by pymactoolbox.h where relevant.Jack Jansen2003-11-201-5/+0
| | | | Cleaned up various things in the toolbox modules.
* Getting rid of WITHOUT_FRAMEWORKS and ACCESSOR_CALLS_ARE_FUNCTIONS:Jack Jansen2003-11-191-5/+0
| | | | MacOS9isms.
* Changed an edit instruction because of a changed parameter name (sigh).Jack Jansen2003-02-041-7/+9

* - Various tweaks to shut up compiler warnings.Jack Jansen2002-12-231-6/+12
| | | | | - Regenerated with the correct calls to PyType_Ready and the correct deallocator calls.
* Regenerated with inheritance-aware xxxx_Check() macros.Jack Jansen2002-12-191-6/+6

* Getting rid of pre-Carbon (MacOS8) support. All code depending onJack Jansen2002-12-121-387/+0
| | | | | | TARGET_API_MAC_OS8 (or !TARGET_API_MAC_CARBON) is gone. Also some TARGET_API_MAC_OSX conditional code is gone, because it is no longer used on OSX-only Python (only in MacPython-OS9).
* Added PEP253 support to most Carbon modules. This isn't complete yet:Jack Jansen2002-12-031-78/+252
| | | | | | some of the more compilcated cases (CF, Res) haven't been done yet. Also, various types should inherit from each other (anything with an as_Resource method should be a Resource subtype, the CF types should become one family).
* Converted the Carbon modules to use PEP252-style objects, withJack Jansen2002-11-291-60/+120
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | descriptors in stead of manual getattr hooks to get at attributes of the objects. For Qd I have in stead gotten rid of most of the attribute access in favor of the carbon-style accessor methods (with the exception of visRgn, to be done later), and of the Carbon.Qd.qd global object, for which accessor functions are also available. For List I have fixed the fact that various methods were incorrectly generated as functions. CF is untouched: PEP252 doesn't allow "poor-mans-inheritance" with basechain, so it will have to wait for PEP253 support.
* Regenerated with PyDoc_STR() around docstrings.Jack Jansen2002-08-161-405/+405

* Weaklink most toolbox modules, improving backward compatibility. Modules ↵Jack Jansen2002-03-241-0/+1215
| | | | | | | | will no longer fail to load if a single routine is missing on the curent OS version, in stead calling the missing routine will raise an exception. Should finally fix 531398. 2.2.1 candidate. Also blacklisted some constants with definitions that were not Python-compatible.
* Updated to Universal Headers 3.4Jack Jansen2001-12-181-12/+305

* Patch supplied by Burton Radons for his own SF bug #487390: ModifyingGuido van Rossum2001-12-081-6/+6
| | | | | | | | | | | | | type.__module__ behavior. This adds the module name and a dot in front of the type name in every type object initializer, except for built-in types (and those that already had this). Note that it touches lots of Mac modules -- I have no way to test these but the changes look right. Apologies if they're not. This also touches the weakref docs, which contains a sample type object initializer. It also touches the mmap test output, because the mmap type's repr is included in that output. It touches object.h to put the correct description in a comment.
* Merged changes made on r22b2-branch between r22b2 and r22b2-mac (theJack Jansen2001-11-301-10/+6
| | | | changes from start of branch upto r22b2 were already merged, of course).
* Shut up many more gcc warnings.Jack Jansen2001-09-051-0/+4

* Regenerated without default int return types.Jack Jansen2001-09-041-6/+6

* Renamed the Mac toolbox modules to have an initial _ in their name.Jack Jansen2001-08-231-0/+8426
