Purpose:
    Fix
Description:
    I didn't put the zlib fix into the 1.4 branch.
Solution:
    Put the fix into the configure to clear the cache so that configure
    always checks for zlib in the fortran/ directory so that it'll be put
    in the LFlags macro.
