[svn-r29835] Purpose: Fix bug

Description:
    A typo in an array allocation caused mismatch of new/delete.  Fixed.
Platforms tested:
    Linux/32 2.6 (jam)
    Linux/64 (platypus)
    Darwin (osx1010test)
