[svn-r7478] Purpose:
Bug fix
Description:
H5Dwrite was only checking the "top level" of the datatype to stop parallel
I/O on variable-length datatypes.
Solution:
Make checks "deeper".
Platforms tested:
FreeBSD 4.9 (sleipnir)
