[svn-r9766] Purpose:
Code cleanup
Description:
Transition FPHDF5 to use skip lists for various internal data structures,
instead of threaded, balanced binary trees.
Also, simplify some of FPHDF5 code some, etc.
Platforms tested:
FreeBSD 4.10 (sleipnir) w/parallel & fphdf5
Too minor to require h5committest
