[svn-r4734]
Purpose:
Bug Fix
Description:
Shared libraries weren't being built for C++.
Solution:
Removed the -static flag from the libtool compile line. This allows
both shared and static libraries to be built instead of just static
ones. After talking with Quincey and Binh-Minh, there shouldn't be
any reason for C++ to be built static only.
Platforms tested:
Linux
