[svn-r19123] Description:

	Converge code on "metadata journaling merge" branch to be closer to
code on current trunk:
	- Updates to internal error reporting macros
	- Updated routines to operation on superblock extension
	- Object header query operations

	Misc. minor updates to caching code.
