[svn-r9780] Purpose:

    Bug fix

Description:
    Print the thread ID in a little more portable of a fashion, disallowing
negative thread IDs.

Platforms tested:
    Linux 2.4 (heping) w/threadsafe
    Too Minor to require h5committest
