[svn-r8902] Purpose:
Bug fix
Description:
Allow buffer parameter to H5Dread & H5Dwrite to be NULL if there are no
elements to transfer.
Platforms tested:
FreeBSD 4.10 (sleipnir) w/parallel
Too minor to require h5committest
