uninitialized variable bug in passing.
Added the H5C_get_entry_ptr_from_addr() and H5C_verify_entry_type()
in H5C.c, along with their pass through functions in H5AC.c. Note
that H5C_get_entry_ptr_from_addr() is quite slimey, and should be
avoided if possible.
Updated fractal heap to use flush ordering to force children
in the hdr / iblock / dblock tree to be flushed prior to parents.
This is part of a port of the fractal heap to the V3 cache, although
I gather that it will also be useful for SWMR.
Added sanity checking code to the fractal heap to verify that direct
blocks are flushed before their parent indirect blocks, child indirect
block are flushed prior to their parent indirect blocks, and that the
root iblock or dblock is flushed prior to the header

v2 B-tree routines.
Also, switch internal representation of 'sizeof_addr' and 'sizeof_size'
in files to be uint8_t's instead of size_t's, since they are stored in single

Further refactor v2 B-tree code to bring it closer to modern data
structure designed in the library, mainly by introducing a H5B2_t type so that
the v2 B-tree could be held open, but not require the B-tree header to be
protected the whole time. A few other minor tweaks as well.
Also, remove unused 'dirty' flag from fractal heap header.

Add 'notify' callback to metadata cache clients, so that they can be
aware when the cache has taken/will take certain actions. Notifications are
urrently limited to when an entry has successfully entered the cache (via an
insertion or a load from the file) and when an entry is about to be evicted
from the cache.

Description:
When an attribute was created with a datatype or dataspace that was shared in
the same object header that the attribute was in, the attribute could not be
deleted. Changes made to ensure that the attribute can be deleted both when the
attribute is in the object header and when it is shared in the heap. Object
header message decode routines now take an "open_oh" parameter to enable them to
avoid opening the same object header twice.

Add small interface to "wrap" a static buffer (usually on the stack), but
still allow for buffers larger than the static buffer to be allocated. This
can eliminate _many_ short-lived buffer allocations in situations where the
buffer is a predictable size (or at least a "very likely" size).
Also, some minor code cleanups, particularly in the SOHM caching code.

Add support for compress heap blocks in "managed" heaps.
Also, fix bug when the first direct block moves between having a parent

Add test to fractal heaps to exercise issues with opening the same heap
through two different file handles.
Fix issues with file handle contexts in metadata cache callbacks for heap
components.
Fix bug in file close handling where cached information was being

Description:
First stage of checkins modifying the format of groups to support creation
order. Implement "dense" storage for links in groups.
Try to clarify some of the symbols for the H5L API.
Add the H5Pset_latest_format() flag for FAPLs, to choose to use the newest
file format options (including "dense" link storage in groups)
Add the H5Pset_track_creation_order() flag for GCPLs, to enable creation
order tracking in groups (although no index on creation order yet).
Remove --enable-group-revision configure flag, as file format issues are
now handled in a backwardly/forwardly compatible way.
Clean up lots of compiler warnings and other minor formatting issues.

Add support for checksumming fractal heaps. This is always enabled for
the heap header and indirect blocks (as they are "pure" metadata) and is
optional for direct blocks, since they may be used for "raw" data.
Also, rearrange direct block routines in H5HFcache.c to be in a more
sensible location in the file. (probably should have been a separate checkin,
since the diffs are mostly useless for this checkin... *sigh*)

Several changes, all mooshed together:
- Add support for "tiny" objects - which can be stored in the heap
ID itself, instead of in the heap data blocks.
- Flesh out support for compressed direct blocks, but comment it
out until John's got some metadata cache changes in place to
support it.
- Add support for applying I/O pipeline filters to 'huge' objects
- Refactor 'huge' object code to store information for 'huge' objects
directly in the heap ID, when there are I/O pipeline filters
applied to the heap (and the heap ID is large enough to hold the
information)
- Update h5debug tool to correctly handle 'huge' & 'tiny' objects.
- Misc. other code cleanups, etc.
