* commit '54957d37f5aa73912763dbb6e308555e863c43f4':
Commit copyright header change for src/H5PLpkg.c which was added after running script to make changes.
Add new files in release_docs to MANIFEST. Cimmit changes to Makefile.in(s) and H5PL.c that resulted from running autogen.sh.
Merge pull request #407 in HDFFV/hdf5 from ~LRKNOX/hdf5_lrk:hdf5_1_10_1 to hdf5_1_10_1
Change copyright headers to replace url referring to file to be removed and replace it with new url for COPYING file.

checks from metadata dxpls
- remove H5AC_ind_dxpl_id and use only H5AC_dxpl_id everywhere instead.
- remove flush_me_collectively flag from cache entries
- add a collective sanity check (MPI_Barrier) for every HDF5 API routine that could possibly touch the file. This is trigerred when the environment variable H5_COLL_API_SANITY_CHECK is set to a non 0 digit.

Clean up many mismatches between malloc/free and H5MM_malloc/H5MM_xfree
in the library and tests (and use of H5free_memory and H5Dvlen_reclaim). Also
make H5Ocopy use a private version of H5Lexists, which doesn't internally
throw (and suppress) errors when an object (or the path to it) isn't found in
the destination.

Complete revamp of package initialization/shutdown mechanism in the library.
Each package now has a single init/term routine.
This new way should avoid packages being re-initialized during library
shutdown and is also be _much_ more proactive about giving feedback for
resource leaks internal to the library.
Introduces a new "module" header file for packages in the library
(e.g src/H5Fmodule.h) which sets up some necessary package configuration macros
for the FUNC_ENTER/LEAVE macros. (The VFL drivers have their own slightly
modified version of this header, src/H5FDdrvr_module.h)
Also cleaned up a bunch of resources leaks all across the library and tests,
along with addressing many warnings, as I encountered them.

Bring changes from Coverity branch to trunk:
r19930:
Fix memory leaks involving VL attributes in h5repack and h5diff. The buffers in
copy_attr and diff_attr were not checked for the presence of a vlen before being
freed, and vlen storage was never reclaimed. Added checks and calls to
H5D_vlen_reclaim().
r19933:
Purpose: Fix memory leak in H5L_move_cb()
Description: H5L_move_cb copied the source link using H5O_msg_copy() but freed
it manually using H5MM_xfree(). Since H5O_link_copy allocates the link using
H5FL_MALLOC, this causes the link to be allocated from the free list but is
never put back on the free list when it is freed. This prevents the link free
list from shutting down properly. Modified H5L_move_cb() and H5L_move_dest_cb()
to free the link properly using H5O_msg_free().

Description:
Library versions 1.6.3 and earlier contain a bug which causes them to be unable
to perform certain operations on a group if that group's symbol table
information is not cached in the parent group's symbol table. Versions 1.8.0
to 1.8.5 did not cache this information. Modified library to cache this
information.

Commit metadata tagging framework.
Description:
This check-in contains a new framework whose goal is to apply
a tag value to each new entry in the metadata cache as it is created.
This tag value is such that it relates each piece of metadata to the
HDF5 object that it belongs to (dataset, group, et cetera).
This changeset includes the framework that applies the tags as
well as a suite of tests to verify correct tag application, though does
not yet make use of the tag values to flush/evict individual objects.
Please refer to the "flush/evict individual objects" RFC for further
discussion of these changes.

"Normalize" object names for external links, making them into the same
form as used for soft links.
Begin the process of adding more printf-like information to library
error reporting. HGOTO_ERROR() and HDONE_ERROR() macros can now use the last
parameter (a string) like a printf() formatting string and pass extra
parameters with additional information. (For example, see the HGOTO_ERROR
macros in H5FD_sec2_read() in src/H5FDsec2.c)

Add H5Lvisit_by_name() API routine to library.
Eliminated all (five!) other group traversal routines and changed them
all to use the new API routine.
Cleaned up output of h5ls & h5stat:
- Issue error when requesting recursive traversal of a file
with the "group info" flag, but no group given
- Print info about root group in all(?) appropriate situations
- Don't print "verbose" information about root group until the
root group is in the list of objects to display
(mostly because h5ls & h5stat had a different twist on traversing the
groups in a file that the other utilities)

link was opened twice, the library
had some trouble to close in the end. The problem came from the field "holding_file" of
H5O_loc_t. It's used to indicate special links like external links. The fix is to turn it off
whenever H5O_open is called. Later the caller function should turn it on when it needs to.

Finish deprecating last H5G symbol (H5G_obj_t) - yay!
Lots of misc. library fixes to remove confusion between links and
objects. The tools could still use another pass, to remove h5trav_type_t type
and make the correct distinction between links & objects.

running on kagiso.
The static szip libraries are working as intended, but when shared szip
libraries are present and intended for use they cannot be opened. A check
has been implemented to test if shared szip libraries are functional on
current platform. If they are not, and the user is trying to use them,
szip is now disbaled and the user is informed.
This issue occurs on kagiso, and the resolution was tested on kagiso.
