| | | | | | | | | Description: Applied the typo fixes from user's report. The previous pull request couldn't be merged because it was too old, and it was too complicated for me to resolve conflicts. Platform tested: Linux/64 (jelly) - very minor
* Merge pull request #426 in HDFFV/hdf5 from ~LRKNOX/hdf5_lrk:hdf5_1_10 to ↵Larry Knox2017-04-251-6/+4

Add new files in release_docs to MANIFEST. Cimmit changes to Makefile.in(s) and H5PL.c that resulted from running autogen.sh. Merge pull request #407 in HDFFV/hdf5 from ~LRKNOX/hdf5_lrk:hdf5_1_10_1 to hdf5_1_10_1 Change copyright headers to replace url referring to file to be removed and replace it with new url for COPYING file.

| | | | | | | | | Clean up a few warnings and minor code issues during review of enum -> int/float conversion changes. Tested on: Mac OSX/64 10.8.2 (amazon) w/debug (too minor to require h5committest)

* [svn-r20913] Issue 7579 - The overflowing ENUM values are inconsistent. ↵Raymond Lu2011-05-271-7/+15
| | | | | | | | | | When no conversion is involved in reading or writing the data, overflowing values are retained. When conversion happens, the values become -1. The conversion function puts -1 when overflow happens. I added two new dataset transfer property to control whether to fill 0xff in the destination data or convert to the destination data when overflow happens. The two new functions are H5Pset(get)_enum_conv_overflow. I also added test cases in enum.c and dtypes.c. Tested on jam, koala, and heiwa.
* [svn-r20529] Purpose: Add testing for bug 1864Neil Fortner2011-04-151-0/+3
| | | | | | | | | Description: Added internal tesitng routines to traverse a file and verify that symbol table information is *always* cached, whenever possible. Added this check to the end of many tests to check all the test files, right before the call to h5_cleanup. Tested: jam, amani, heiwa (h5committest)

| | | | | | | | | | | unresolved issues - r19441 and 19467. Bug 1707 is that H5Eset_auto causes a seg fault when an application uses -DH5_USE_16_API with the 1.8 library to compile. I created a branch off the trunk called set_auto to continue working on the problem. Tested on jam - backing out, simple.

| | | | | | | | | | | | | application uses -DH5_USE_16_API with the 1.8 library to compile. The cause is from the mismatch of H5Eprint1 and H5Eprint2 set through H5Eset_auto. I changed the union in the structure H5E_auto_t. Another change is to make H5Eget_auto fail if H5Eset_auto is called to set the printing function. I'll write a document for it. Tested on heiwa, jam, and amani. The property change in configure.in, config, and Makefile.am came from the merge of the 1.8 library change.

| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Correct a minor error in file free space allocation which was affecting the 'multi' VFD and preventing some tests from fully working with it. * [svn-r12519] Fixed "make check-vfd"James Laird2006-07-311-89/+110
| | | | | | | | | | "make check-vfd" will now run all tests in the test directory with different file drivers (at least, all of those tests that use the testing framework's FAPL). Tests that fail will be skipped. This is not a perfect fix, but is better than nothing. Along with this change, check-vfd should be added to the Daily Tests.

| | | | | | | | | | | | Description: Restore 6 old error API functions back to the library to be backward compatible with v1.6. They are H5Epush, H5Eprint, H5Ewalk, H5Eclear, H5Eset_auto, H5Eget_auto. These functions do not have error stack as parameter. Solution: Internally, these functions use default error stack. * [svn-r2531] Description:Albert Cheng2000-09-101-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The "FILENAME" declared extern in h5test.h is not always used. It was used in h5_cleanup to remove temporary files created during tests. Not all tests codes have used this routine. Indeed, quite a few of test programs do "#define FILENAME ". Also, h5_cleanup needs to work in tandem with h5_fixname. h5_fixname accepts an explicite base_name argument instead of using the global variable FILENAME. That is cleaner. Solution: Added char *base_name[] as a new argument to h5_cleanup, in the same style as h5_fixname. Removed "extern char *FILENAME..." from use. Also, undo some unnecessary declaration of "char *FILENAME" from some tests which don't use it at all (yet). Platforms tested: modi4-64(irix64), arabica(solari2.7), eirene(linux) (arabica could not launch tests automatically. I had to hack in LD_LIBRARY_PATH to make them run.)
