From ef62ea58554c9d1fcb846c06c60077daad3d77bc Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Albert Cheng Date: Fri, 12 Jan 2001 18:30:45 -0500 Subject: [svn-r3288] Purpose: Bug fix (sort of) (H5FDgass.c: just deleted an old code. Nothing to do with this fix.) Description: When --enable-debug=all was used, couple routine printf warnings to stderr that it is an expensive operation. This messed up the testing of h5ls since it included stderr output in its expected output and did not expect the extra messages. Solution: Changed it such that the extra messages are printed only if the appropriate h5-debug-class setting is on (via environment variables, for example). Platforms tested: eirene (debug=all), modi4(parallel,-64,default configure). --- src/H5AC.c | 2 -- src/H5B.c | 2 -- src/H5FDgass.c | 1 - 3 files changed, 5 deletions(-) diff --git a/src/H5AC.c b/src/H5AC.c index 13306f9..09eaded 100644 --- a/src/H5AC.c +++ b/src/H5AC.c @@ -713,8 +713,6 @@ H5AC_protect(H5F_t *f, const H5AC_class_t *type, haddr_t addr, if (0 == ncalls++) { if (H5DEBUG(AC)) { fprintf(H5DEBUG(AC), "H5AC: debugging cache (expensive)\n"); - } else { - fprintf(stderr, "H5AC: debugging cache (expensive)\n"); } } #endif diff --git a/src/H5B.c b/src/H5B.c index fb6f6f6..1bc3f94 100644 --- a/src/H5B.c +++ b/src/H5B.c @@ -2246,8 +2246,6 @@ H5B_assert(H5F_t *f, haddr_t addr, const H5B_class_t *type, void *udata) if (0==ncalls++) { if (H5DEBUG(B)) { fprintf(H5DEBUG(B), "H5B: debugging B-trees (expensive)\n"); - } else { - fprintf(stderr, "H5B: debugging B-trees (expensive)\n"); } } /* Initialize the queue */ diff --git a/src/H5FDgass.c b/src/H5FDgass.c index e86a5a6..6763875 100644 --- a/src/H5FDgass.c +++ b/src/H5FDgass.c @@ -353,7 +353,6 @@ H5FD_gass_open(const char *name, unsigned flags, hid_t fapl_id, is that gass_open does not support many of them (e.g., O_CREAT) */ - /* fprintf (stderr, "flags=0x%x\n", flags); */ if ((flags & H5F_ACC_CREAT) && (flags & H5F_ACC_RDWR) && (flags & H5F_ACC_EXCL)) { if ((fd = globus_gass_open (filename, O_RDWR|O_TRUNC)) < 0) -- cgit v0.12
