* doc/chan.n: "Fix" the limitation on channel -eofchar
* doc/fconfigure.n: values to single byte characters by documenting
* generic/tclIO.c: it and making it fail loudly. Thanks to
* tests/chan.test: Stuart Cassoff for contributing the fix.
